Now hiring: we are hiring a marble fixer in Pulaski County, Illinois. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Day to day you will lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
