Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Peoria County, Illinois. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. You will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Part-time with flexible hours.
