Vacancy available: we are hiring a smash repairer in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The job is at a paint and panel shop. Requirements: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines You will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection.
