Press shop operator — Nsit Atai

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State. The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 3+ years on the tools preferred.
