We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Harris County, Georgia. You will work at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
