Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in Cherokee County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
