VMC operator • Lucas County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Lucas County, Ohio. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $8,500 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
