Abattoir worker — Socorro County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Socorro County, New Mexico. Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Full-time, day shift.
