Restoration bricklayer • Forest County, Pennsylvania

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Forest County, Pennsylvania. You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
