Safety inspector — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety inspector in Scott County, Arkansas. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
