Tile roofer — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile roofer in Jackson County, Illinois. You will be based on re-roofing and repair jobs. Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day The role involves: • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
