Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. The job is on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Pay around £16 per hour, based on your experience.
