Machine operator (earthworks) — Marshall County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Marshall County, Iowa. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. Requirements: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing The role involves: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels We offer $11,000 per project plus benefits.
