Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
