Great opportunity: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Orkney Islands, Scotland. You will be based in a textile mill. What we are looking for: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery The role involves: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Six days a week, one day off.
