Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Box Butte County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
