Vacancy available: offshore rigger (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Gaines County, Texas. The job is at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
