Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Cornwall, England. You will work in a residential housing project. The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
