Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Oliver County, North Dakota. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. The role involves: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Full-time, day shift.
