Now hiring: we are hiring an auto painter in Burnet County, Texas. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Requirements: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Day to day you will compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs.
