Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (Imo State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Mbatoli, Imo State. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Pay around ₦1,250 per hour, based on your experience.
