Sheet metal press operator — Warrick County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Warrick County, Indiana. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting 1+ years on the tools preferred.
