Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Orange County, Vermont. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate • 2+ years' experience as a baker Day-to-day duties: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls 1+ years on the tools preferred.
