What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings.
