Dozer operator — Decatur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dozer operator in Decatur County, Indiana. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. You will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
