Now hiring: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic 5+ years on the tools preferred.
