Restoration bricklayer — Caldwell Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On the job you will handle: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
