Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position.
