Quality checker • Inverclyde, Scotland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality checker in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will work at a food processing unit. You will record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. You should have: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
