Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Perquimans County, North Carolina. The job is on a residential housing development. You should have: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Day-to-day duties: • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
