Mechanical press operator • San Jacinto County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in San Jacinto County, Texas. Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 2+ years on the tools preferred.
