Now hiring: we are hiring a deboner in Harding County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
