Fettler — Pondera County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Pondera County, Montana. You will work on the moulding line. Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
