Great opportunity: furnace operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Campbell County, Tennessee. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
