Foundry operative — Lincoln County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lincoln County, Colorado. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
