Shuttering carpenter — Ocean County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Ocean County, New Jersey. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Six days a week, one day off.
