Immediate opening: formwork erector (New Jersey)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork erector in Burlington County, New Jersey. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Day-to-day duties: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
