Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Baxter County, Arkansas. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
