Fabricator-welder — Delaware County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Delaware County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
