Precision welder — Alexander County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Alexander County, Illinois. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Full-time, day shift.
