Urgent requirement: die-casting operator (Rivers State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
