Blocklayer — Essex County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Essex County, Massachusetts. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
