Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Pinellas County, Florida. On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
