Great opportunity: press machine operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press machine operator in County Durham, England. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings The role involves change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches.
