Conventional mill operator — Copiah County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Copiah County, Mississippi. You will work in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
