Cold room technician • Reeves County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Reeves County, Texas. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. You will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; clean condenser and evaporator coils; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
