Framing carpenter — Walthall County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Walthall County, Mississippi. The job is at a shopfitting company. Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage The role involves: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Part-time with flexible hours.
