Cnc lathe setter — Clay County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Clay County, Indiana. Day to day you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; load and index turning tools in the turret; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
