Trowel-trade bricklayer — Rabun County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Rabun County, Georgia. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
