Semi-automatic welder wanted in Adams County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Adams County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
